Money Smart program at Carrick library

Those who want to find out more about their credit are welcome to come to the Money Smart Series presented by credit counselors from Advantage Credit Counseling Services at the Carrick location of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, 1811 Brownsville Road, on Saturday, April 6 at 2 p.m.

A credit score can affect everything from opening a credit card to buying a house, or even getting a job. It is important to see and evaluate credit reports regularly.

ACCS counselors will help obtain a free credit report online and print it free of charge. Counselors will go through the report, as well as make recommendations on how to fix errors in the report or improve a credit score.

For more information or to register call the library at 412-882-3897 or go to to register.
