First National Bank in Mt. Washington robbed


Last Thursday afternoon, February 28, police were called to the First National Bank on Wyoming Street in Mount Washington for a report of a robbery.

Police spoke with the security guard who reported two black men entered the bank dressed in all black clothing. One suspect approached him carrying a firearm and told him to “get to the ground.”

The security officer complied with the demand and the suspect robbed him of his money.

A bank employee who reported the suspect actor went from teller window to teller window demanding money. The employees complied putting an undisclosed amount of cash in a black bag with stitching on it.

The suspects ran out of the bank in an unknown direction.

The suspects were described as small black men with thin builds: 5’10”, 150 pounds, dark complexion, wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt, black jacket, black pants, black ski mask, black gloves and a white, blue and red plaid shirt; and, 5’8”, 160 pounds, black hoodie sweatshirt and black jeans.

Patrol units did a perimeter search but didn’t see the suspects. No one was reported injured during the robbery.
