Police asking for help in pizza shop robbery


Pittsburgh police are looking for information from anyone who can identify the person who robbed the Aprimo Pizza Shop in Knoxville.

The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Robbery Squad is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who is responsible for robbing the Aprimo Pizza Shop on December 4 at 9 p.m.

The suspect is described as a thin dark skinned black male approximately 5’11”, 17-19 years of age, wearing dark jeans, a black hoodie with white lettering on the front and back of the hoodie, and white tennis shoes.

It was reported that the actor came into the pizza shop and proceeded into the rear of the store to the kitchen area. The suspect confronted the victim who had his back turned, by poking the victim on his shoulder to gain his attention.

When the victim felt someone poking him on his shoulder he turned around and saw the suspect displaying a firearm and demanding money.

The victim complied with the demands and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The suspect took the money from the victim and ran towards the front of the store, falling as he was exiting the front door.

The suspect recovered from his fall and made a right hand turn running towards the 600 block of Brownsville Road.
