WW II veterans can go on free bus trip to memorial
World War II veterans can register for a free one-day bus trip to the WWII National Memorial in Washington, D.C. scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 2.
The buses will leave at 6 a.m. from four locations: Coraopolis, Ross Park, Monroeville, Greentree and Beaver, and return at approximately 9 p.m. A box lunch dinner and beverages will be provided. Wheelchairs will be available if requested.
For more information or to register call 724-709-3614. Seating is reserved for WWII veterans only; Family, friends and spouses cannot be accommodated. Donations enable the organization to provide this trip free of charge to veterans.
Each $60 donation makes the trip possible for one veteran at no cost to themselves. To make a donation mail a check payable to "WWII Memorial Vets Trip" to: ESP Bank, 701 Corporation St., Beaver, PA 15009.
