Warrington work begins

September 18, 2012

Work on East Warrington Avenue will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 19 with track work in advance of the street resurfacing.

It's anticipated the work on the tracks will take two weeks. The Port Authority will then move to resurface East Warrington Avenue, one side of the street at a time, beginning at Haberman Street.

During the work there will be temporary lane restrictions with parking removed and some sidewalk closures. The sidewalk closures are needed while curbs are replaced and sidewalk ramps installed.

The Port Authority anticipates the about six weeks of construction work this year with the remainder completed beginning in the spring. The schedule could change depending on the weather.
