Rosa Nelson and Shorlee Ellison joined Mayor Luke Ravenstahl when he announced an expansion of the "Love Your Block" program. Home Depot Foundation donated $130,000 for an expansion of the program allowing community groups to "clean, green and ultimately transform vacant lots." The women will use the grant they received to clean and plant a vacant lot on Jucunda Street in Knoxville.
