Mulick earns honors

Jonathan Mulich, a student at Bishop Canevin High School, earned three awards at the Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair at the Heinz Field on March 30.
Jonathan's project, "Toxicity of Sediments in Beaver River Tributaries," earned First Place awards from American Society of Civil Engineers, Pittsburgh, the Migliuolo Family and Consol Energy, Inc. along with a Perseverance Award.
More than 1,100 students from over 100 schools across western Pennsylvania and Maryland competed for $1,000,000 in cash prizes and scholarships this year at Carnegie Science Center's Pittsburgh Regional Science and engineering Fair. Selected high school winners from the regional competitions will now represent the region at the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair, May 13-18 in Pittsburgh.
