Knoxville man arrested on drug related charges

A Knoxville man was one of a trio of suspects arrested on drug related charges in Beechview on Friday, March 30.

Pittsburgh narcotics detectives were investigating drug related activities in Beechview when they arrested Darnell Nelson, 19, of Wilkinsburg and Robert Law, 20, from Knoxville for selling heroin to two separate people on Bayone Avenue. The detectives seized 34 bags of heroin along with cash.

The detectives then executed a search warrant for an address on Beechview Avenue where they arrested Tyenne Miller, 20, and seized an additional 150 stamp bags of heroin, a small amount of marijuana and a large amount of cash.

All three suspects were taken to the Allegheny County Jail.

The trio face charges including: Possession of a Controlled Substance; Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance; Delivery of a Controlled Substance; and, Criminal Conspiracy.

Mr. Miller also was charged with Criminal Use of Communications.
