The Monster at City Theatre

City Theatre will present David Greig's The Monster in the Hall, under the direction of Tracy Brigden, March 10-April 1, on City Theatre's Main Stage.

Rev your engines for a high-octane, music-filled joyride. Meet Duck, a sassy 16-year-old whose mom died years ago in a motorcycle crash. Her father, nearly blind from MS, cares more for his vintage bikes than he does for maintaining a stable home environment. It's up to Duck to hold her dysfunctional world together.

The Guardian praises David Greig's work as "raucous…delivering comedy, pathos, and romance." Paired with original music by Eric Shimelonis, adolescence never sounded so good.

The Monster in the Hall features Matt Dengler, Melinda Helfrich, Sheila McKenna, and David Whalen.

Tickets for The Monster in the Hall are $30 to $60 and are available at the City Theatre Box Office, 1300 Bingham Street, by calling 412-431-CITY (2489) or at
