Meeting concerns possible S.S. Improvement District

The South Side Planning Forum is holding a series of meetings for residents and business owners to learn more about what what they love about South Side, why they choose to live or do business in the neighborhood, what their vision for the community is and what services are needed to realize that vision.

The meetings will also provide an opportunity to have questions answered about a possible South Side Improvement District. The input gathered at the meetings will help guide the conversation concerning formation of an improvement district.

The next meetings, held at the Brashear Center, 2005 Sarah Street, will take place on Wednesday, June 22. Businesses are urged to attend from 3:30 to 5 p.m. while residents are encouraged to attend another session from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
