Prescription Take Back Day
April 19, 2011
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), an Operation Weed and Seed partner, will give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
On Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., DEA and its partners will hold their second National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day at sites nationwide. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. For more information, visit: http://www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/drug_disposal/takeback/index.html.
Pittsburgh Police Headquarters and all police zone stations will serve as drop off sites including the Zone 3 Police Station at 830 East Warrington Ave.
