South Side Pilot Club meets, prepares for Awareness Week

The new Pilot Club of South Side will meet on March 9, 6-7 p.m. at the Jaggerbush Bar and Grill.

The meeting will feature a short presentation from Pilots of Texas and their Camps for Traumatic Brain Injury Survivors. After the presentation those in attendance will assemble packets to give to the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - South Side for Brain Awareness Week.

This is the global campaign to increase public awareness about the progress and benefits of brain research. Every March BAW unites the efforts of organizations worldwide in a week-long celebration of the brain. March Awareness Week begins March 14.

The Pilot Club of South Side will need assistance on Wednesday, March 9. Anyone who can give an hour of their time from 6-7 p.m., is welcome to join them. There will be time for fellowship and networking afterwards for those who would like to stay.
