Pittsburgh's Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.
Zone case 080/10 on Thursday, April 22 at 9:40 a.m. is the appeal of Linda Mangus, appellant for 222 Clover Street in the 16th Ward, for an appeal requesting a 6' wooden privacy fence along perimeter of lot..
The appellant is requesting relief from front-yard fencing requirements of Section 925.06A of the Zoning Code.
Zone case 88/10 on Thursday, April 22 at 9:10 a.m. is the appeal of Eric Engelhardt, appellant for 422 Industry Street in the 18th Ward, for an appeal requesting demo and reconstruction of a 42' x 88' one-story structure for use as construction contracting (general) with 8' high chain-link fence with barbed wire surrounding the perimeter of the lot.
Reconstruction of a non-conforming use shall be permitted by Special Exception and review by the zoning board in accordance with 921.03.C.1 of the City Zoning Code. 8' chain-link fence with barbed wire not permitted in a residential zoning district.
Zone case 87/10 on Thursday, April 29 at 10:00 a.m. is the appeal of Brad Palmisiano, appellant for 110 Pius Street in the 17th Ward, for an appeal requesting a 13'x15' third-story rear deck and a 14'x17' roof-top deck above existing 3-story single family dwelling.
The appellant is requesting relief from interior side-yard setback and height requirements.
Plans are on file for these cases and may be inspected up to the date of the hearing. Anyone who wishes to be heard must appear in person. The board does not accept letters or petitions.
