Storytime programs at the Carrick library


The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, Carrick is welcoming families to its Storytime Thursdays.

Beginning Thursday, Sept. 3 at 10 a.m., parents and caregivers of babies and toddlers six months to two years will enjoy music and movement that accompanies some of the most beloved Mother Goose rhymes of all time. This program features a 30 minute Storytime followed by a short play session.

Everyone's Storytime begins on Thursday Sept. 3 at 11:15 a.m. The whole family can enjoy this Storytime together, featuring books, songs and fun. Ideal for children ages 2-6 but all are welcome.

Play Day at the Library begins Friday, Sept. 4 at 11 a.m. for a great hour of fun for small children. Children will learn through play with toys, books and crafts. Children up to age five are welcome to participate with a caregiver. Call 412-882-3897 or visit to register for this program.

Preschool Bingo is another great way for kids to identify letters and numbers. Help children learn their ABCs and 123s with an exciting game of bingo. Preschool Bingo will take place on Wednesdays September 9 and 23 for this free program for children age 2-6.

The Carrick Library is at 1811 Brownsville Road, next to St. Basil's Church. All programs are free.
