Paper recycling event this Saturday at Whole Foods

Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC), through a partnership with Whole Foods Market, Abitibi and the City of Pittsburgh Recycling Division, will hold a Recycling Drop-Off Event on Saturday, Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Whole Food Market, 5880 Centre Avenue.
The public will be able to recycle the following paper products: office paper, junk mail, newpaper, cardboard, paperboard, magazines, catalogs, hardback books and phone books. Other items that will be accepted for recycling include: alkaline batteries, cell phones, ink and toner cartridges and CFLs.
Representative from PRC and Abitibi will be on hand between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to answer questions about recycling.
Paper products should be sorted in the following categories: Office paper, junk mail, newpaper, magazines and catalogs; Phone books; Hardback books; Cardboard; and, Paperboard.
