Genealogy program slated for Carrick Branch Library

Those interested in discovering a branch of their family tree can come to the Carrick Library on Saturday, May 2 from 10:30 a.m.-noon to learn how to begin their search.
Marilyn Holt, head of the Pennsylvania Department at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and an expert on genealogy, will discuss how to conduct a genealogy search and how to record, organize and store historical information. This free program on beginning genealogy will be at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – Carrick which is located at 1811 Brownsville Road (next to St Basil Church).
