Council looking for Outstanding South Siders

South Side Community Council (SSCC) is looking for Outstanding South Siders.
The council would like to recognize those individuals living and working in South Side whose efforts have enhanced the quality of life in the community and they are seeking nominations.
To be nominated, the person must either live or work in the South Side. Individuals should limit their nominations to one individual.
Nominations should be 250 words or less and explain how the nominee has enhanced the quality of life in South Side. It should also include how long the nominee has lived and/or worked in the neighborhood; What the nominee has done for the betterment of the neighborhood; What the results of the nominee's community involvement were; and, why they should be recognized.
Submit the nomination to Eve Trbovich by email at: email@example.com and include “outstanding South Sider Award” in the subject line. A printed copy may also be sent to: Outstanding South Sider Award, South Side Community Council c/o Brashear Center, 2005 Sarah Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
Submissions should also include the name, address, telephone number and email of both the nominee and nominator.
The “Outstanding South Sider Award” will be announced at South Side Community Council's Open Meeting on June 29.
