Pilot Club holding Recipe Challenge for cookbook

The Pilot Club of Pittsburgh is planning to publish a community cookbook filled to the brim with the best recipes from the best cooks in the area and they're looking for South Pittsburgher's favorite recipes!
Those who submit a recipe could win a $100 gift certificate to the 17th Street Café.
Profits from the sale of the cookbooks, Fit, Fun & Fabulous, will go towards the Pilot Club's continued efforts in helping people with brain-related disorders, their families, and care-givers.
The Pilot Club of Pittsburgh is joining hundreds of organizations worldwide to increase public awareness of the advances and benefits of brain research during Brain Awareness Week, March 16-22.
The Pilot Club of Pittsburgh would like your favorite recipes. They are looking for Fit, Fun, & Fabulous recipes that help keep your brain fit. The club may select one or more recipes from each submission to be included in their cookbook; the chef's name will be printed in the cookbook with each of their own recipes.
The Recipe Challenge ends February 28. Entries must be received no later than 5 p.m. (EST), February 28, 2009. The contest can be entered via email at PILOTPGH@hotmail.com.
Contestants must submit the recipe(s) through email (no attachments), including a title, ingredient list, and directions. A separate contest entry email must be made for each recipe. The email must contain contributor's full name, phone number and address.
Contestants must select one of eight categories for each recipe entered: Appetizers and Beverages, Soups and Salads, Vegetables and Side Dishes, Main Dishes, Breads and Rolls, Desserts, Cookies and Candy, This and That. Ingredients must be listed in the same order as they are called for in the recipe directions. Directions must be written in paragraph form and include pot and pan sizes.
There will be one first place winner with a prize of a $100 gift certificate to the 17th Street Café.
Final judging will be done by a professional food expert. Criteria will include overall appeal, originality, taste, convenience, nutrition, visual appeal and ease and speed of preparation. All entries must be original creations and never before published in print or online, infringe on third-party copyrights and never entered in any other contest.
All entries will become property of the Pilot Club of Pittsburgh. This entity shall have the right to edit, adapt and publish any or all of the recipes and may use these recipes in any media without attribution or compensation.
