Beginning tonight, Tuesday, July 15, Community Days will feature the C&L Shows Midway Carnival, live bands on the Transverse Field Main Stage, karaoke and the annual car cruise along with food and game booths. The annual festival will conclude with a fireworks spectacular on Saturday night.

The Community Days Main Stage will again be on Transverse Field with live entertainment every night. The annual Car Cruise will take place Friday evening on Transverse Field.

Also on Transverse Field, non-profit organizations will host games of skill and chance along with information on their organizations. Bingo will also be held nightly on street level above the field.

Prior to the main events on Saturday, the Hilltop communities are hosting the Second Annual Unity Day Festival on the upper level of Transverse Park. The festival will feature demonstrations of public safety equipment including Emergency Medical Services Fire and Police from Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh and the Borough of Mount Oliver.

The Fire Safety Trailer will be there along with representatives and information about DARE. The festival will take place from 3-5 p.m.
