WAAR offers Healing Space Workshops

Women Against Abusive Relationships (WAAR) – a Project of Nurture Clubs, Inc. – is offering its Healing Space workshops in communities throughout South Pittsburgh on a first come, first serve basis.
WAAR programs include:
• Adult Programs (Ages 18 and up) are free. However, the host site is asked to provide refreshments to participants and possibly help with material costs, if an ArtShop is requested.
• Youth Programs – Call for fees.
The following workshops, which are tailored to participants' needs and age range:
• Healthy Relationships
• Teen Dating Violence
• Relationship Violence
• Sexual Violence
• Healing through Creativity – writing, poetry, clay, painting, quilting, masks, etc.
Workshops vary in length from one hour to four hours. The four-hour workshops are done over a two-day or two-week period and can be held during the day, in the evening or on weekends.
