30th Ward Block Watch schedules safety meeting

The 30th Ward Knoxville Block Watch has scheduled a meeting for Wednesday Sept. 26, at St. Sava Church on Knox Avenue, 7 p.m.
Invited (but not confirmed) guests include Mayor Luke Ravenstahl, Commander Larry Ross or Officer Christine Luffey, Councilman Jeff Koch and District Judge Richard King. Block watch organizers stress that it is important for the community to show they care by attending the meeting. The support of the residents is needed to continue to keep the community a safe place in which to live.
Refreshments will be served after the meeting.
