Public hearing on PAWC rate increase

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) will hold a series of Public Input Hearings throughout the Pennsylvania American Water Company (PAWC) service territory to gather information from PAWC customers and all parties impacted by PAWC's proposed rate increase request.

The Office of Consumer Advocate represents consumer interests and encourages all customers affected by this proposed rate increase to participate.

Two of the Public Input Hearings will be held in the Pittsburgh area:

Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the West Mifflin Municipal Building, Borough Council Chambers, 3000 Lebanon Church Road, West Mifflin, PA 15108.

Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007 at 7 p.m. at the Bower Hill Volunteer Fire Department, 161 Vanadium Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017-3025.
