Annual Saint Clair Village reunion will be this weekend


The 12th annual Saint Clair Village Homecoming Reunion will be Friday, July 20 through Sunday, July 22.

Friday will be a get together at CJ's, 2901 Penn Avenue, from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. There is no cover charge but CJ's dress code is strictly enforced and excludes jeans, denim, hoodies, sweats and tennis shoes. There will be an opportunity to purchase cabaret tickets during the evening.

Saturday will be a Black & White Cabaret at the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum, Frankstown Avenue, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. The cost is $15 in advance or $20 at the door, cash or money order. No checks will be accepted. There is a special senior citizen price of $10. The evening features the Disco Brothers and a prize for the Best Dressed. BYOB and food.

On Sunday is the Family Picnic at the Vietnam Veterans Shelter in Schenley Park from noon to 8 p.m. Bring your own picnic basket and old photos. There will be fun and games for children, who should be accompanied by a parent.

Ticket sales benefit the Saint Clair Village Reunion Committee Scholarship Fund. The fund has awarded 24 scholarships over the past nine years. For more information on the fund contact Bobbi Wilson at 412-243-6036.
