Problems in South Side happen between 10 and 3

Last updated 11/9/2012 at 6:44pm

I was one of the seniors who attended the Tuesday, July 2 Mayor Ravenstahl's meeting concerning late night tensions on South Side's neighborhoods.

The mayor's talk was paramount as far as I'm concerned, however, neither he, nor (33) ubiquitous police officers, won't solve our problems since I saw little or no saloon, bar, café, lounge representative present at that meeting.

Our problems occur between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. and I know of no other businesses open during that time other than the various "watering holes." Until we can solve the young people's problem who frequent our numerous watering holes, we are fighting a losing battle.
