Public hearing on limiting bars

Pittsburgh's City Council is considering Council Bill No. 0935, an ordinance that amends the Zoning Code by revising the definition of "restaurant" in the code to include separate categories for those with and without liquor licenses, and that adopts new standards for the approval of restaurants with liquor licenses.

A public hearing on this matter will be held Wednesday, July 11 at 1:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5th floor of the City-County Building.

Those who wish to speak or present information to City Council at the hearing should call Linda Johnson-Wasler, city clerk, at 412-255-2138 prior to the hearing date to have his/her name placed on the speaker's list.

A copy of the bill may be reviewed at the Land Use Control Office, 3rd floor, 200 Ross Street.
