Library to host programs for youngsters


Children and their families are invited to the Carrick Library on Saturday, March 3 at 1 p.m. to celebrate individuality with a special program.

In support of the Pittsburgh Community Gallery Project, the library will host a story time for all ages called “I Am Special and So Are You!” Call the library to register.

The library continues to host programs for children and families throughout March. Baby/Toddler Story Time will help develop baby's early literacy skills with stories, songs and finger plays. Babies from birth to 2 years old with their caregivers are invited to attend on Fridays, March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 at 1 p.m.

Preschoolers can stop by after school for “Terrific Tuesdays for Preschoolers” on March 13 at 3:30 p.m. All children ages 2-5 can enjoy stories, a craft and a small snack. Preschool Story Time continues on Thursdays, March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 11:15 a.m.
