Town meeting with mayor about pending bar legislation

 


Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and Councilman Jeff Koch have called a town meeting for 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at the South Side Market House to discuss legislation to limit the number of bars in the South Side.

Also expected to attend the meeting are Pittsburgh Police Chief Nate Harper, Zone 3 Commander Larry Ross, Zoning Administrator Jeremy Smith and Acting City Solicitor George Spector. In addition, Mary Sevick from the South Side Community Council Bar Task Force will make a presentation.

Community council president Joe Bielecki and Kim Graziani, director of Neighborhood Initiatives will moderate the evening.
