Celebrity Cook-Off at Nakama
The Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will sponsor its second annual Nakama Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar Celebrity Chef Cook-Off on Monday, Nov. 6.
Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and local celebrities will prepare traditional hibachi-style dinners for guests at two seatings, 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Celebrity chefs include former Steelers Louis Lipps, Andy Russell, Craig Bingham, Edmund Nelson, Matt Bahr and Ron Coder; Pitt basketball players Jamie Dixon, Orlando Antigua and Agnus Berenato; KDKA's Alison Morris, Bob Pompeani, Jim Lokay and Ken Rice; WTAE's Jennifer Miele, Mike Clark, Wendy Bell and Sally Wiggin; Rich Walsh of WPXI.
Also, Anji and Kiki of WAMO; Mikey, Big Bob and Jorge of the KISS FM morning show; Dylan and Bonics of KISS FM; Tim Benz of WXDX; Senator Wayne Fontana; Chris Fennimore of QED Cooks; Chef Grant, Sweetwater Cooking; City of Pittsburgh Public Works Director Guy Costa; City Councilman Jeff Koch; Johnny Angel; and, Edward Child of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
Before and after the seatings, guests are welcome to enjoy the outside heated tent to mingle, enjoy cocktails, and be entertained by DJs from HotHitz and Standing O Entertainment.
