It's a Dog's Life exhibit opening at Silver Eye

Silver Eye Center for Photography will have an opening reception for “It's a Dog's Life,” photographs by William Wegman from the Polaroid Collection, on Friday, Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. Members and students are free, non-members $5; refreshments will be served.

Known internationally for images of his Weimaraner dogs, William Wegman's delightful large scale color photographs entertain audiences that range from Sesame Street to the Whitney Museum of American Art.

His works will be exhibited through November 4. Silver Eye is at 1015 E. Carson Street, South Side. Gallery hours are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, noon to 5 p.m .; Thursday, noon to 9 p.m. Call 412-431-1810 or visit http://www.silvereye.org.
