McCollester, Brnik wed in church ceremony in Ridgway

 Rebecca Binh Donna McCollester, originally of Mt. Washington became the bride of Brian Joseph Brnik, originally of Grassflat, PA, in a blue-skied two o'clock ceremony on Saturday, July 1, 2006, at Saint Leo Magnus Roman Catholic Church in Ridgway, PA.

 The bride is the daughter of Dr. Charles and Linda McCollester of Mt. Washington, PA. She is the granddaughter of Margaret McCollester of Rochester, NY and Jane Gryzbek and of Dyer, IN. The bridegroom is the son of Richard and Andrea Brnik of Grassflat, PA.

 The Revered Theodore Marconi and the bride's uncle and God-father, Deacon Thomas Gryzbek, of Dyer, IN, officiated the ceremony. Tracey Pretak, of Wilcox, PA, friend of the groom provided nuptial music. Scripture was read by the bride's brother, Karl McCollester of Clayton, NC, and the groom's sister, Angela Busatto of Orange Park, FL. The church was decorated in white and pink by Elegance and Ivy with flowers provided by South Street Botanical Design.

 The groom's niece, Brittnee Bussato and nephew, Eric Busatto, both of Orange Park, FL and Seth Addeo, of Ridgway, PA, son of Matchmakers helped greet guests. Amy Nearing-Walters, of Wilcox, PA attended to the guest book. Donald Busatto, of Orange Park, FL, brother-in-law of the groom, and Mrs. Donna Zaczkiewicz of Griffin, IN, God-mother of the bride, presented the gifts.

 The bride's father presented the bride in marriage wearing an Oleg Cassini designer gown featuring a strapless satin ball gown with beaded rum-pink embroidery at the bodice, organza skit with cathedral train, and lace up back. She also wore a pearl and crystal encrusted tiara and a white pearled finger-tipped veil. She carried a hand-tied pink rose and Gerber daisy bouquet tied with an embroidered ribbon featuring the couple's last name initial and wedding date.

 The bridal party wore accompanying strapless floor length gowns of rose pink and carried hand-tied bouquets of white roses and berries. Maid of Honor was Maria McCollester of Indiana, PA, the bride's sister. Bridesmaids were Dr. Sarah McCollester of Billings, MT, sister of the bride, Lauren McCollester of Clayton, NC, sister-in-law of the bride, and Nicole Brnik, of Grassflat, PA, sister of the groom. The bride's niece, Hadley McCollester, of Clayton, NC was the junior bridesmaid. Addelyn Posti, of Burgettstown, PA, a former student of the bride and daughter of the couple's matchmakers, was the flower girl.

 Sam Haggerty of Clarion, PA was the best man. Groomsmen were Richard Brnik Jr. of Grassflat, PA, brother of the groom, Tom Bliss, of Abingdon, MD, and Matthew McCollester, of Jonesboro, AR, brother of the bride. Nathan Brnik, of Grassflat, PA, nephew of the groom was the junior groomsman and Seamus McCollester, of Clayton, NC was the ring bearer.

 A dinner reception was held at the Red Fern in Kersey, PA. Family and friends came from AR,AZ, FL, IL, IN, MD, MA, MT, NC, NY OH, PA, SC, TN, and VA and were entertained by Doug Marshall of Houserockers Mobile DJ and Jon Giorgino, balloon artist.

 After a wedding trip to Maui and Oahu, Hawaii, the couple moved to Bradley County outside of Cleveland, TN.

 The bride is a teacher at Montessori Kinder in Cleveland, TN and the bridegroom is a maintenance planner/inventory control specialist for JM Huber in Etowah, TN.
