South Side House Tour will feature eight homes


The 15th Annual Historic South Side Home Tour, presented by Howard Hanna and Station Square, will be Saturday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The self-guided walking tour features eight homes, a chance to tour 91.3fm WYEP's new Community Broadcast Center in Bedford Square, and a glimpse of the 15th Street Glassworks residences featuring a unit furnished in Bradley Michaels Furniture.
Tour goers can connect with South Side's heritage at the Community Council's Ethnic Lunch. Call 412-381-2094 for reservations.
Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 the day of the tour. Those touring on a bike or blades can save $3 on advance tickets, or pay $12 the day of the tour. For ticket information call 412-481-0651 or visit    
The Historic South Side Home Tour is a self-guided walking tour. Tour goers should be able to walk several blocks at a time and navigate flights of stairs. The tour will proceed rain or shine. Tickets for this fundraising event are non-refundable. Children under 12 not permitted. Free parking at 21st and Josephine courtesy of UPMC South Side, first come, first served.
