Sign up to play ball with Carrick Community AA
February 14, 2006
The Carrick Community Athletic Association (CCAA) will hold sign-ups for the 2006 baseball and softball season at the Phillips Park Recreation Center, across from Carrick High School on Parkfield Street.
Registration will take place: Saturday, Feb. 25, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ball programs are available for boys and girls ages three to 18 years old.
This year, there will be a league for three and four year olds. In this league, a parent or guardian must be present and willing to be involved on the field with the child. There is no charge for participating in the three/four year olds league as long as parents have a child/children in the CCAA organization. Uniforms will be supplied.
Fees for all other leagues are:
$35 for all Instructional, Farm and Little Leagues.
$40 for Fast Pitch Softball, Senior Girls Slow Pitch, Teenier, Pony and Colt.
$100 for American Legion and Super Colt. Players must tryout and qualify to participate.
Sign-ups will also require (except for American Legion and Super Colt) families to sell 25 lottery tickets. Families may also choose a $50 buyout option at the time of registration and not sell any lottery tickets.
If a family has more than two children registering, they will pay the higher two fees plus $10 per child thereafter. Families will only be required to sell one set of lottery tickets.
League age structure will be determined by enrollment.
