Hilltop center now taking applications for Head Start

August 9, 2005

The summer program at the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center Head Start has come to an end and applications are being taken for the fall.

The summer program included a variety of activities such as Christmas in July (when Santa arrived in a beach shirt), family celebrations in the park, site seeing on the Good Ship Lollipop, painting like famous artists, and planting and caring for a vegetable garden.

Each center provides children with fun as well as educational activities that are print rich and challenging, so children will develop the joy of life-long learning.

Parents are invited to call 412-488-2750 for more information about the fall school year. Applications are being accepted now but space is limited.
