Los Lobos featured at Hartwood music festival
The sixth annual Allegheny County Music Festival will be Sunday, Aug. 21 at Hartwood Acres. Gates open at 3 p.m. and activities begin at 4, and include music by Akrasia and Good Brother Earl, a jam tent, a children's activity area featuring crafts, the Saturday Light Brigade and face painting.
A $5 donation is requested, all of which goes to the Allegheny County Music Festival Fund to raise money for children served by the county Department of Human Services.
The festival will feature Los Lobos at 7:30 p.m. Rounding out the festival will be local bands Akrasia at 4:15 p.m. and Good Brother Earl at 5:30. Good Brother Earl is the only group to be invited to the festival a second time.
The Children's Activity Area will be open from 4-7 p.m. The Saturday Light Brigade will have a tent from 4-6 p.m. and the jam tent will be open from 4-6 p.m. for anyone who wants to bring an instrument and join in.
