Meeting is for potential foster parents

There are children in Allegheny County in need of foster parents who can provide loving, supportive homes. Anyone who would like to explore the possibilities of becoming a foster parent is invited to attend one of the informational meetings offered by Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Foster Care Division.

The meetings are at the Office of Children, Youth and Families Foster Care Office, 400 N. Lexington Street, Point Breeze from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26 and Aug. 30, and Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Foster parents must be 21 years of age or older, in reasonably good health, demonstrate positive family and personal relationships, and show a willingness to work with CYF Foster Care. Call 412-473-2400 to register for the meetings.
