Two local hearings this week before city's Zoning Board


Pittsburgh's Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled two public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents for Thursday, July 21 in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 129/05 at 8:45 a.m. is the appeal of James Smith, owner of 26 Barry Street, South Side Slopes, to erect a 3-story 1-family dwelling with a 1-car integral garage.

Zone case 140/05 at 9:30 a.m. is the appeal of Kenneth M. and Cynthia L. Collins, owner of 104 Dilworth Street, Mount Washington, to erect a 28' x 24' 2nd floor addition above existing 1-story 2-car garage and a 16' x 20' 1-story extension to rear. Occupy addition and extension as 1 dwelling unit. Two car garage in existing structure to remain.

Plans are on file for these cases and may be inspected up to the date of the hearing. Anyone who wishes to be heard must appear in person. The board does not accept letters or petitions.
