Arthritis patients can learn more physical activity

Are routine activities, such as walking, climbing stairs or even sleeping a challenge?

The Mount Washington Senior Community Center, the National Council on Aging, and the national Association of Orthopaedic Nurses will sponsor a free and fun educational event on Wednesday, July 20 for people with osteoarthritis. Attendees will learn how to take a more active role in monitoring and ultimately restoring mobility through a variety of available arthritis treatment options.

The event will take place from 9-11 a.m. at the Mount Washington Senior Center, 122 Virginia Avenue. To RSVP or get more information, call toll free, 1-888-577-7870 ext. 174 or visit http://www.jointpainoptions. com, or email ajose-meyers@ fischerhealth.com.
