The following are the Part I crimes for the week of: November 13-19.

Duquesne Heights (1911)

Theft – 1400 blk. Grandview Ave. – between 11/12/17 at 10 PM and 11/13/17 at 10 AM – Victim reported an envelope with cash in it was stolen by another employee. Amount of loss is $780.

Mt. Washington (1903, 1914, 1915, 1807)

Robbery – Bailey Ave. & Cushman St. – 11/15/17 at 10:35 AM – Victim reported picking-up medication at a local business. Upon exiting the business, a black male, (late 20s, 200 pounds, medium build, scruffy beard, light complexion, wearing a black hoodie, black pants, & black tennis shoes), took the medication bag from her hand and fled the area. The amount of loss is unknown.

Theft – 100 blk. Dilworth St. – between 11/12/17 at midnight and 11/13/17 at noon – Victim reported his black Schwinn hybrid bike was stolen. Amount of loss is $150.

Robbery – 100 blk. Virginia Ave. – 11/13/17 at 3:14 PM – Employees were delivering items to a business when approached by 3 black males wearing masks. One of them lifted up his shirt showing the butt of a pistol. The other 2 suspects stole 89 cartons of cigarettes. The amount of loss is $5,340. 2 suspects were wearing black hoodies and the other had a blue hoodie.

Criminal Trespass – 400 blk. Boggs Ave. – 11/13/17 at 8:40 PM – Officers responded to a home owner had observed a suspect steal items from his property. The suspect was still on scene. Cater Hunter was arrested and take to the county jail. The home owner recovered his property.

Theft from vehicle – 600 blk. Boggs Ave. – between midnight and 7 AM on 11/16/17 – Victim reported his green Springfield XDS 9mm was stolen from his vehicle. There were no signs of forced entry.

Theft from vehicle – 600 blk. Griffin St. – 11/11/17 at noon – Victim reported parking her car and when she returned about an hour later the PA license plate had been stolen (KMT8194).

South Side Slopes (1706, 1608)

Burglary – 2400 blk. Burham St. – between 11/16/17 at 3:30 PM and 11/17/17 at 12:15 AM – Property owner arrived and found forced entry had been made through a window and a Little Giant folding ladder and Nakita drill/screw gun had been stolen. The amount of loss is over $300.

Burglary – 2300 blk. S. 18th St. – between 11 AM and 7:15 PM – Victims reported arriving home and finding the window open. Several items were discovered as stolen. The items were a Nikon D5600, Dell computer, cash, Bose ear buds, PlayStation 4, PS4 games, 15 DVDs, & 3 custom rings. The amount of loss is $1,990.

Aggravated assault – 100 blk. Pius St. – 11/17/17 at 4:40 PM – Victim reported a known person had been drinking and started yelling at her. The suspect then pushed the victim to the floor and repeatedly punched her. The suspect continued to smash pictures frames over the victim’s back and head. The suspect then threw a vase at the victim striking her in the back. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment while the suspect (Lisa Anderson) was taken to the County jail.

South Side Flats (1609 & 1702)

Criminal Trespass – 2100 blk. E. Carson St. – 11/17/17 at 1:45 PM – Victim reported someone was is entering her home with a key and locking her pet in a room. There was no signs of forced entry.

Theft from vehicle – S. 22nd St. & E. Carson St. – between 11/17/17 at 9 PM and 11/18/17 at 2 PM – Victim reported his Ruger SR 1911 SW .45 was stolen from his vehicle’s glove compartment. The amount of loss is unknown.

Theft – 2800 blk. Tunnel Blvd. – between midnight and 7 AM on 11/14/17 – Victim reported two vending machines were forced open and money was stolen from inside the machines. The amount of money is unknown at this time.

Robbery – 100 blk. S. 10th St. – 11/15/17 at 4:05 AM – Employee reported the business was robbed by a white male (6’, medium build, short brown hair, scruffy beard, wearing red/black shirt, red/white/black flannel shirt, & tan cargo shorts). The suspect wrote a note demanding money and that he possessed a firearm. The employee handed over $200 to the suspect who left the business.

Aggravated assault – 1500 blk. E. Carson St. – 11/19/17 at 10:25 PM – Officers responded a report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival, officers observed several girls screaming and crying. Also, there was an unconscious girl in front of a local bar. The unconscious victim was reportedly in a “fight” inside a local bar. When the group was broken up and removed they re-engaged in a fight once outside. The victim was then knocked to the ground and kicked in the head several times. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Burglary – 900 blk. PJ McArdle Rdwy – between 3 AM and 9 AM on 11/19/17 – Victim reported waking up to window and door open. The victim stated items were stolen from the home as well. The items were liquor, duffle bag, hair straightener, make-up bag, & miscellaneous clothing. The amount of loss is unknown.

Robbery – PJ McArdrle Rdwy & S. 8th St. – 11/14/17 at 11 PM – Victim reported being assaulted by 2 white males. One suspect is known to the victim. The other is suspect’s brother. The victim stated he was jumped and the two suspects punched him in the jaw and stole his iPhone 5SE. The amount of loss is $99. The victim refused medical treatment.

Theft by deception – 1000 blk. E. Carson St. – between 9/30/17 at midnight and 10/6/17 at midnight – A business employee reported the suspect ordered food and reported it as unauthorized. The amount of loss is $57.83.

Allentown (1803)

Theft – 600 blk. Lillian St. – between 8 AM and 4 PM on 11/16/17 – Victim reported a purple 20” girl’s bike was stolen from her yard. The amount of loss is $90.

Burglary – 900 blk. Brosville St. – between 11/16/17 at 8:45 PM and 11/17/17 at 12:45 AM – Victims reported arriving home and finding several items were stolen. The items stolen were a Addidas backpack, 2015 Dell Laptop, Xbox 1 with 2 controllers, gaming headset, 20 Xbox games, & Samsung 40” LED TV. The amount of loss is $1,630.

Mount Oliver (1607)

Robbery – 400 blk. McManus St. – 11/14/17 at 6:15 PM – Two known people walked into the victims’ home. The victim went upstairs with one and came back downstairs a short period of time later. The other suspect pulled out a handgun and pointed at the victim demanding the victim’s puppies. 4 puppies were taken in the robbery. The amount of loss is $1,500.

Arlington (1603)

Theft – 2400 blk. Spring St. – between 8/26/17 at midnight and 11/10/17 at midnight – Victim reported a known person stole his credit card made 5 unauthorized transactions. The amount of loss is $1,431.23.

Carrick (2901, 2902, 2904)

Theft from vehicle – 100 blk. Parkfield St. – between 11/12/17 at midnight and 11/13/17 at 5 PM – Victim reported finding his vehicle ransacked and a jewelry and change stolen from the vehicle. The amount of loss is $4,600.

Theft – Walton Ave. & Midwood Ave. – between 11/10/17 at 5 PM and 11/14/17 at 2:17 PM – A service provider reported the theft of cable. The employee stated the cable was cut down. The amount of loss is unknown.

Burglary – 300 blk. Parallel Ave. – between 11/13/17 at 9 PM and 11/14/17 at 9:05 PM – A property owner reported someone smashed the window and entered. The suspect then stole a Nest digital camera & a Comcast modem. Amount of loss is $279.99.

Theft from vehicle – 400 blk. Overbrook Blvd. – between 11/17/17 at 8:15 PM and 11/18/17 at 9:42 AM – Victim reported getting notified by her bank that about 2 charges on debit card. The victim checked the vehicle and the debit card was the only thing stolen.

Burglary – 100 blk. Charles St. – between 11/12/17 at 1 PM and 11/13/17 at 10 AM – Victim reported her front door was forced open and someone had damaged her walls. The amount of damage is about $1,000.
