Suspect wanted in convenience store robbery

The Pittsburgh Police Violent Crime Unit  (VCU) is investigating an armed robbery on September 30 at the CoGos on Brownsville Road in Carrick.

According to police, a black male entered the story at approximately 4:30 p.m. wearing dark blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt. The hood was up and his face was partially covered with a black ski mask.

The suspect displayed a black gun and demanded money from the cash registers. He then casually walked out of the store toward Clause Avenue.

Anyone who can identify the suspect is asked to call the VCU at 412-323-7800.
