Pittsburgh’s Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 301/17 on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 9:00 a.m. is the appeal of Kelan Walls, applicant, and Kyrie and Kathleen Hussak, owners, for 7 Nusser Street in the 17th Ward (Zoning District H).

Applicant requests to build an attached single-family dwelling with parking pad.

Special Exception: 911.02: Single unit attached is a Special Exception in the H zoning district.

Variances: 911.04.A.69(a)(1): Primary structures must be located on buildable land defined as a contigous area of the lot less than 30 percent in the existing slope, proposed structure is all in the existing slope; 905.02.C: Maximum lot disturbance is 50 percent, proposed is approximately 75 percent.

Zone case 300/17 on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 9:30 a.m. is the appeal of Kelan Walls, applicant, and Blue Dog Enterprises, owners, for 9 Nusser Street in the 17th Ward (Zoning District H).

Applicant requests to build an attached single-family dwelling with parking pad.

Zone case 302/17 on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 9:50 a.m. is the appeal of Matt Brind’Amour, applicant, and Debra R. Meyer-Kincak,owner, for 613-619 Cabot Way in the 17th Ward (Zoning District NDI).

Applicant requests to demolish existing structure and build a duplex with two-car integral garages.

Variances: 904.03.C: Minimum 20’ rear setback required and 7’ requested; Maximum height 45’/3 stories permitted and 4 stories proposed; Maximum FAR is 2:1, proposed 2.3:1; 912.07: Minimum 5’ rear setback for accessories structures permitted and 0’ requested.
