Knights of Columbus serve up success

Gilmary Council #3868, of the Knights of Columbus members: (left to right) Jim Homer, Brian Bobrzynski, Drew Warble, Tom Gugliuzza-treasurer, and Ken Hallinen-DGK, helped to raise funds for the organization's annual "Coats for Kids" program.

On Sunday, June 18, Gilmary Council #3868, of the Knights of Columbus, held its first major fundraiser of the year with a Father's Day Breakfast in the Holy Apostles Parish Faith Formation Center on St. Albert the Great Church grounds.

The event was a success with approximately 200 people attending. Signature Servings by Chef Steve, provided a full service menu, including an omelet station. The success of this event was made possible by the work of Gilmary Council members, and the participation of local parishioners.

Net proceeds will be used to purchase and distribute new winter coats to local needy children, through their "Coats for Kids" program.
