Hot Metal Bridge Community South Side Summer Saturday

The Hot Metal Bridge Faith Community is hosting a free evening of live music and food on Saturday, July 1 from 5-8 p.m.

The evening will feature performances by Nathan Rosswog – a winner of WYEP’s 2016 Singer-Songwriter Contest, Dylan Rooke & Red Coal, Pennsylvania Dirt and local songwriters Natalie Wardius and Davey Jones.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, and grilled vegetables will be served throughout the evening and guests are encouraged to bring a side dish to share. Ingredients will be on hand for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores.

All the music and food will be held on the outdoor patio. In the case of foul weather, the event will be moved indoors to the church’s main hall.

“We hope that folks will bring their families, meet some neighbors, and make some friends,” says associate pastor Mike Holohan.

The Hot Metal Bridge Faith Community is at the corner of 27th and Jane streets in South Side. The 48 and 75 bus lines have stops nearby and parking for cars and bicycles is available on-site.
