McKinley Park meeting concerns Chicken Hill infrastructure project

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy was awarded a Great Urban Parks Campaign grant in 2016 for a green infrastructure project in McKinley Park by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and American Planning Association (APA). This project will target stormwater management in the Chicken Hill area of McKinley Park.

The Parks Conservancy has been working with the design team to refine design concepts for the Chicken Hill Green Infrastructure Project. It’s very important to discuss these changes with the community before they complete the final design on June 28 at the Delmont Shelter House, 900 Delmont Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15210.

The agenda includes: From 6-7 p.m. they will provide an update on the design and answer any questions regarding the project. The already scheduled Friends of McKinley Park meeting will follow from 7-8 p.m.
