Non-fatal shooting in Arlington

 


Zone 3 police officers were sent to the 2900 block of Spring Street for a panic alarm and shots fired call at approximately 3:50 a.m. on January 19.

The officers observed the front window of the residence on had multiple gun shots through it. A 22-year-old woman opened the door when the officers approached and told them she had been shot in the leg. Paramedics were called and took the woman to Mercy in stable condition.

According to police, the woman had just entered her home and was in the living room when the shots came through the front window. A car parked in the driveway next to the house was also damaged by gunshots and shell casings were located in the roadway.

Police are actively investigating the incident.
