Science Center free admission on MLK Day

Carnegie Science Center is once teaming up with Duquesne Light Company to offer free admission on Duquesne Light Community Day, which will feature programming for all ages, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

With Duquesne Light’s sponsorship, visitors will enjoy free general admission, parking, and an Omnimax film on Monday, Jan. 16. The Science Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

During this special day, visitors will be able to explore the Science Center’s four floors of hands-on exhibits plus Highmark SportsWorks® and will have the opportunity to watch the Omnimax film Sea Monsters on the biggest screen in Pittsburgh.

Several live science demonstration shows will also be presented throughout the day in the Body Stage and the Works Theater.

General admission, parking, and Omnimax films on Duquesne Light Day are subject to availability. For more information, visit CarnegieScienceCenter.org.
