Human service providers hosting job fair in S.S.

The Conference of Allegheny Providers, a coalition of human service agencies across Allegheny County, will be hosting a job fair at the Sokol Club, 2912 East Carson St., in South Side from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on September 22.

More than 25 agencies providing human services in the Pittsburgh region will be in attendance, sharing information about employment opportunities, accepting applications, and conducting on-site interviews. Full-time and part-time positions are available, including a variety of shifts and levels.

Participants include agencies such as Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh, Achieva, Mainstay Life Services, Milestone Centers, Inc., InVision Human Services, Family Links, Pressley Ridge, and more.

“This is a great opportunity to find out what human services are all about. These jobs allow people to gain new experiences and build a career while truly making a difference in people’s lives,” according to Karen Jacobsen, executive director of the Emmaus Community.
