Annual Community Cornfest will take place Aug. 27

 


The annual Community Cornfest will take place on Saturday, Aug. 27, from noon until 6 p.m. at Phillips Park.

The Cornfest will feature family friendly fun, entertainments and vendors. The annual Corn Shucking Contest for children 12 and under is always a big hit.

Entertainers scheduled to perform include: The Bhutanese Community Association of Pittsburgh; Cathasaigh; Ira Soul; Jimmy Adler’s CAPA Bands and Chet Vincent and the Big Bend.

Information will be update on the Carrick Community Council Facebook page.

Organizers have created an event on Carrick Community Council’s Facebook page. Vendors have been asked to tag their pages and post any updates to the event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/506563879533075/
