South Pittsburgh students earn PSU degrees

 


Commencement ceremonies, across Pennsylvania State University campuses, were held the May 6, 7 and 8.

This spring Penn State awarded approximately 13,600 diplomas to students University-wide who are completing 429 associate, 11,064 baccalaureate, 1,534 master’s, 159 law, 244 doctoral and 174 medical degrees, bringing the university’s number of graduates to an estimated total of more than 773,842.

South Pittsburgh area students earning degrees included:

Maston T. Casto, University Park Campus, Bachelor of Science in Psychology; Michael T. Coleman, Greater Allegheny Campus, Bachelor of Science in Business; Brandon J. Esser, Erie Campus, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; Tyrelle E. Farris, University Park Campus, Bachelor of Arts in International Politics; Caitlin R. Knox, World Campus Campus, Bachelor of Science in Finance; and, James M. Lewandowski, World Campus, Masters in Engineering Management.

Also, Alyssa R. Palmer, University Park Campus, Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Distinction; Dennis W. Peer, World Campus Master of Professional Studies in Enterprise Architecture; Shanda A. Snyder, University Park Campus, Criminology; Jonathan W. Sommerer, University Park Campus, Bachelor of Science in Marketing; and, Joel G. Stewart, University Park Campus, Bachelor of Science in Community, Environment, And Development.

In addition, Lindsey K. Yealy, University Park Campus, Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, And Institutional Management; and, Anthony Zekas, World Campus Associate of Arts in Letters, Arts, And Sciences.
