White-Out to violence in Arlington

Students at Arlington Elementary and Middle School recently met with Kellen Hill, a prevention provider from Pittsburgh Mercy, discussing the violence that has occurred in their community. Two students from the small group came up with an idea of having a White-Out Violence Day to display their disapproval of the violence. Students were asked to wear white on Wednesday, May 25 and stand and let the community know they will not let this continue. There was a great response from the students and staff.
