Robbery on Brownsville investigated by police

 


On April 7, at approximately 10 p.m., Zone 3 Officers were sent for a report of an armed street robbery at Brownsville Road and East Agnew Street in Carrick.

At the scene, a 35-year-old male victim reported he was walking home. In the 100 block of East Agnew, he was approached by a man who pulled a gun and demanded money and the victim’s cellphone. The victim refused and the suspect fired a shot at him and fled on foot on Concordia Street.

Responding officers located a shell casing from a .380 round at the scene, a .380 caliber pistol, a magazine, and a blue bandana nearby.

The suspect is a black male with a light complexion who is approximately 6’2” and 185 pounds. The investigation is ongoing.
